Olifant

Olifant ("Elephant") takes one of the animal kingdom's most instantly recognisable forms and translates it into Brivany's abstract visual language -- legible without being naturalistic, built through layered colour and gestural mark-making.

At close to two metres tall, this is one of the larger works by the artist in the collection.
