A varied group of twelve African objects comprising forged weapons, a collection of arrows, decorated blade furniture, figural staffs and carved sculpture. The strongest components are the Congolese prestige blades, a metal-mounted wooden sheath, a monumental stacked-figure carving and a female caryatid supporting a cylindrical vessel or drum. The collection reflects several regional traditions rather than a single cultural origin, demonstrating the interaction between utility, status and sculptural form. Cultural and chronological attributions remain provisional pending physical examination and documentary research.
