An original Walt Disney Studios production model sheet created for the animated short Donald's Nephews (1938, dir. Jack King). The sheet depicts Donald Duck alongside the newly developed figures of his nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie, containing character studies addressing proportions, anatomy, head construction, posture and scale, with handwritten production instructions. Model sheets were circulated within the studio to establish a consistent visual standard among animators. This is an original studio photostat, a period photographic reproduction made for practical use during animation, not a later commercial print.
